What is the GTA 6 Extended Look?

Rockstar Games has released Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look. The living page at the Extended Look hub is the destination we update from that footage. This trailers page does not invent a runtime or a shot list.

What has Rockstar officially shown so far?

Official trailers present dual protagonists, a Vice City urban core in a wider Florida-inspired setting, vehicles and a dense living-city pitch, and crime sequences as story presentation. Map size, named vehicle models, Online feature lists, and a full supporting cast are still not confirmed here.

FAQ

Official GTA 6 footage

Rockstar trailers are primary sources on GTA6Tracking. This page lists them in order, states what the footage supports, and points to the recap articles for the long version. It is not a leak reel and not a substitute for map, characters, gameplay, or vehicles.

New official video should be added to the list below rather than opening a second trailers URL. Recaps stay in trailer news; this hub stays the evergreen index.

Chronological releases

Released items are official Rockstar videos. The Extended Look hub is the living destination for that presentation.

ConfirmedReleased — official

Trailer 1

December 2023

The first official look: two leads presented together, a Vice City–scale urban core with land around it, and vehicles, crowds, weather, crime, and wildlife in the same continuous space. The original on-trailer window was 2025; that is not the current official date.

Trailer 2

Official Trailer 2

A second official trailer. Dual protagonists remain the center of the campaign presentation. The world still reads as a Florida-inspired state with a Vice City core. Vehicles, crowds, weather, and street-level chaos stay in one continuous space.

What each trailer confirms

Short notes only. Full arguments live on the recap articles and topic hubs. Empty Extended Look cells mean that footage has not been catalogued here yet — not that the game lacks those things.

Topic	Trailer 1	Trailer 2	Extended Look
Characters	Female lead and male partner shown together. First official appearance of the dual leads.	Dual protagonists remain the campaign presentation. Full names Lucia Caminos and Jason Duval are on the record here from later official copy.	Not yet analyzed from Extended Look footage.
Story	Crime, pursuit, and a partnership already in motion. Detention-style footage is on screen — not a finished biography.	The same dual-lead story frame, with more time on the pair. Mission structure is not spelled out.	Not yet analyzed from Extended Look footage.
Map / locations	Dense coastal city plus wetlands and highways. Vice City is the urban core this site names from official framing. Map size unknown.	Still a Florida-inspired state with a Vice City core. Leonida as the named state is later official geography, tracked on the map hub.	Not yet analyzed from Extended Look footage.
Gameplay	Connected open-world presentation. Density, weather, and street activity in the same space. Economy and wanted rules unknown.	Same continuous-world pitch. Online plans and systems wikis are not in the trailer.	Not yet analyzed from Extended Look footage.
Vehicles	Cars, motorcycles, and boats in traffic and set pieces. No official model list.	Vehicles remain part of the same world. Still a class catalog, not a leaked roster.	Not yet analyzed from Extended Look footage.
Activities	Armed robberies and police response depicted as story presentation — not a mission checklist.	Crime and street-level chaos remain on screen. No official activity roster.	Not yet analyzed from Extended Look footage.
Visuals	Crowds, night and day, weather, and street clutter as a living-city pitch. Not benchmarks or PC specs.	Dense streets and weather in the same continuous space. Simulation depth unknown.	Not yet analyzed from Extended Look footage.
