This policy describes how GTA6Tracking (https://gta6tracking.com) handles information when you use the website. It is written to match the current implementation, not a generic template. It is not legal advice, and it does not claim that the site is guaranteed compliant with every applicable law.

Who operates this site
GTA6Tracking is an independent English-language information website and project about Grand Theft Auto VI, operated by an individual. It is not described here as a registered company, and this site does not publish a company name, organisation number, registered office, business postal address, or data protection officer. It is not owned, operated, endorsed, or sponsored by Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive.
The site is published at https://gta6tracking.com. The contact method is email: gta6tracking@outlook.com.
What information is collected
We do not offer user accounts, newsletters, or account registration.
We do not operate a contact form or other on-site collection of names, addresses, or similar identifiers. If you choose to email us, you provide whatever you include in that message (typically an email address and the content of the email). We use that only to read and reply, and we keep correspondence only as long as it is needed for that purpose.
The computers that host and deliver the site typically record technical logs (for example IP address, time, requested URL, and browser type). Those logs are created by the hosting environment, not by a custom logging feature in this codebase. Retention depends on the host. We do not sell personal data.
Analytics (Google Analytics 4)
If you accept analytics, the site loads Google Analytics 4 (GA4) measurement ID G-5Z2Y47BHEP using Google’s gtag.js script from googletagmanager.com. That is Google’s GA4 / gtag endpoint, not a separate Google Tag Manager container (no GTM-… container is installed).
GA4 is used to understand which pages are visited, roughly how people move between them after the first load (including client-side navigations), and similar usage statistics so the operator can improve the site. This is not anonymous: Google may process identifiers, device/browser data, IP-related data, and cookie or similar identifiers according to Google’s own terms and documentation. We do not configure GA4 in this codebase to make visits anonymous.
GA4 scripts are not loaded until you choose “Accept analytics”. If you choose “Reject analytics”, or you have not chosen yet, those scripts are not initialized. Analytics is also not loaded in local development builds. You can change or withdraw this choice at any time via Cookie settings in the footer. Withdrawing consent stops our site from loading GA4; cookies Google already stored in your browser may remain until you clear them (we attempt to expire first-party cookies whose names are _ga or start with _ga_ on this host).
Legal basis for this optional analytics, where GDPR applies: your consent (Article 6(1)(a)).
Google LLC (and related Google companies) act as a service provider for this processing. Google may process data in the United States and other countries. Google describes its own transfers, subprocessors, and retention in its documentation. We do not control Google’s full processing.
YouTube
Some pages embed official Rockstar Games videos. The player uses youtube-nocookie.com and does not insert a YouTube iframe until you click play. Thumbnail images are requested from i.ytimg.com when the embed is shown. A “Watch on YouTube” link goes to youtube.com.
Clicking play (or opening YouTube itself) can cause your browser to connect to Google/YouTube servers. YouTube may set cookies or otherwise process information under YouTube’s and Google’s policies. We do not claim that youtube-nocookie.com is cookie-free or that YouTube does not process personal data.
Cookies and local storage
This codebase does not set cookies for site login, advertising, or consent. Your analytics choice is stored in the browser’s local storage under the key gta6tracking-analytics-consent (values granted or denied). That is local storage, not a cookie.
If you accept analytics, Google’s library may then set cookies on this site (commonly names such as _ga and _ga_* as documented by Google). Those names are Google’s, not cookies we define in application code.
Fonts are loaded through Next.js next/font (Geist / Geist Mono). They are typically bundled with the site at build time rather than fetched from Google Fonts in the visitor’s browser. See the cookie policy for a technology-by-technology list.
Advertising and affiliate marketing
The site does not currently load advertising scripts or affiliate network scripts, and it does not currently include affiliate purchase links. If that changes, the affiliate disclosure will be updated.
Third-party services that may receive visitor data

- Google Analytics, only after analytics consent (usage measurement).
- Google/YouTube, if you load a thumbnail, click play, or open a YouTube link.
- Your email provider and ours, if you send a message to gta6tracking@outlook.com.
Retention
Email: kept as long as needed to handle the request. Analytics: Google applies its own retention settings for the GA4 property; we do not document a custom retention override in this codebase. Local storage consent: until you change it or clear site data. Hosting logs: according to the host.
Your rights (GDPR)
If the GDPR applies to you, you may have the right to request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability where applicable, and to object to certain processing. You may withdraw analytics consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal, using Cookie settings.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Sweden that is Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten (IMY). If you live in another EU/EEA country, you may contact your local authority.
To exercise rights that require us to identify you (for example a copy of an email you sent), contact gta6tracking@outlook.com. We may need enough information to find the relevant correspondence. We cannot always access or delete data held only by Google from this website.
