Most “GTA 6 release date” posts mix earnings-call language, leaks, and wishful calendars. This page only tracks what Rockstar Games and Take-Two Interactive have put on the record, then links out to platforms, PC, and price when those details exist.
Official windows so far
- Rockstar first pointed the public at a Fall 2025 window.
- Take-Two later stated a May 26, 2026 release date in investor materials.
- The current officially confirmed date is November 19, 2026.
Platforms
Official presentation has placed the game on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. That is a platform claim, not a second date. Read the platforms article for the split between consoles and everything else.
PC
A dated PC launch is not implied by the console window. We keep that question on the GTA 6 PC hub so a Steam rumor cannot overwrite the date on this page.
Price and pre-orders
An official date is not an official price. Retailer placeholders and “coming soon” tiles are not SKUs. Price tracking lives on the price hub. Pre-order pages will be linked here when a storefront and Rockstar agree.
What we do not treat as a date
Store-page stubs, anonymous “sources,” and social-media calendars are not confirmation. If a retailer lists a date that Rockstar has not repeated, we mark it as reported or rumored — never as the date.
